Hey gang,
I just made my own mandolin at the wood-working school I'm going to, so now I figure I should protect it when I carry it around, and better learn how to play it as well.
So, if anybody happens to have a spare or un-used mandolin case I could have to protect my new baby, that would be great.
Also, if anybody has some time and lots of patience, to teach me some mandolin, that would also be grand. I have almost no experience playing music, let alone any stringed instruments, but I better learn since I made the thing.

I'm looking for an old cassette player and blank cassettes for a friend who records music for people with Alzheimzers. She's done this before with an iPod but it got stolen so I think an old cassette player which can record might be safer.

I'm looking for all sorts of music equipment that you might not be using anymore, for an ongoing business project and an art project that I'm going to start working on.
Such as:
Microphones (and stands)
Cabling (guitar leads, mic cables, etc)
Amps and guitar effects pedals
Audio Hardware (Mixers, DI Boxes, EQs, compressors, etc)
Speakers/Monitors & Headphones
Musical Instruments (keyboards, etc)
Music accessories (sound treatment/proofing, tuners, power supplies, etc)
REASON: I plan to either
1: Put the equipment to use in my home studio and/or 2: To make some interactive physical Art with it :D
I know its a bit of a long shot but i thought I'd ask :)
