Hi I am looking for some home grown vegetables and or fruit , herbs etc ! From pumpkins, garlic, rainbow chard, carrots , mint , anything you have growing that maybe is going to waste or that you have a lot extra of ! I would be happy to do something in return . I can do a session of yoga and help you with back pain or other types of pain . Can do some drawing lessons with you as I am an artist too. I can show you how to sprout beans and seeds. How to make some fermented foods and offer you an apple cider vinegar mother and a water kefir starter :) I am based in Naas and kilkenny but will be in Dublin some weekends !

Fresh Tomatoes

Hi All!
Might be too early at this stage, but are there any growers here? Looking to make homemade sun-dried tomatoes and would love to use something home-grown too! Anyone with a surplus? :) Would be relevant later too, I understand that most tomatoes have not yet ripened.

Kombucha and/or Kefir culture

I love both Kombucha and Kefir - and kept Kefir for yoghurt before.
I would like to starting more Kombucha - but the best stuff is homemade.

Does anyone have a culture they can give me?

Spare Hand Blender/Mixer- Thanks, already received both!

I wonder if any of you might have a hand blender (to blend soups) and/or a hand mixer (to whisk eggs) to spare?

I would prefer to get second hand ones rather than buying more stuff from Argos!

Sloes

This is a strange one, but I intended making sloe gin for my mother for Christmas, only it slipped my mind until they were all gone from the local area. If anyone has any sloes left over from making their own gin, or if they happen to have any stashed away in the freezer, I'd really appreciate a handful! Thanks.

Collecting bags for Falling Fruit

The Falling Fruit Project is going very well but we are running out of strong bags for collecting the fruit. Bags are good because many of us cycle to apple sites and it is difficult to manage boxes on a bike. If you have any spare Ikea blue bags or other large strong bags please share them with Falling Fruit! I will be in the city centre all day Tuesday if you are coming into town. Thanks : )
